Have you ever taken a Medicine Walk?
Sad but most people are on their feet most of the day but do not use their feet intentionally! Medicine Walking brings back the highly sacred and valued tradition of the Indigenous People who believed one should always ask for permission, from the four directions/animals, before traveling in any direction, for what ever reason? It is truly a moving meditation when we choose to connect with the Earth while paying attention to the animals who cross our path!
Many of us, humans, have spent an entire life letting our brain tell us who we are. When we choose to Walk Medicine, among Animal/Nature, we allow our Feet to show us How to be in the moment and thrive from a communal purpose in why we are here! How can we not pay attention and listen?
What about this new movement called Earthing?
Exactly what is Earthing?
There is a book that came out in 2010 called “Earthing” written by Stephen T Sinatra, Clinton Ober and Mark Zucker “Earthing is a fast-growing movement based upon the major discovery that connecting to the Earth’s natural energy is foundational for vibrant health”– http://www.earthing.com/
